Snowflake card

This is the second sample I did. I loved the different circle designs, so I used them as snowflakes. She said we could use stamps that we had at home, so I used a snowflake stamp to give it more of a christmas feel.

I have been into the snowflakes as of late, decorated the store in snowflakes, made this last card in snowflakes. They are just so pretty!

Now I can work on Christmas cards and ATC's. The pressure is off! WOOO HOOO!

Sample card....

I am making samples for a LSS, and I'm not too sure if I like this one. It's in a style that I'm just starting to get into. I swear, it feels like the stamping world moved so far ahead of me. So, I created this tonight with a set by autumn leaves. I think I'll submit it anyway, but I'm still thinking that something is missing.

Season's Swap

This is a card I made for our Season's swap. I had Summer, and wanted to make a summery card. I live in Flip Flops during the summer, so of course had to paper piece them! Plus stamped the pink card part with Stampin' Up stamps and used a bit of patterned paper for the side.
And I just loved the pink and the green colors together. :)

Creative Expression ATC

This is an ATC (Artist Trading Card) that I made for a Creative Expressions ATC Swap. My rubberstamping sisters and I are doing a series of ATC's, all have different themes to them. The creative expressions swap was one where we were to stamp whatever we felt like and then write what our inspiration was for the card.

My inspiration was my heritage, and the harmony that I feel when I stamp. :)

Wasn't sure that I liked it at first, especially after seeing and receiving everyone else's ATC's. OMG, if you could only see some of them in person, you'd totally understand! LOL

But it got my creative juices flowing, and I'm ready for the other ones coming up in the next few months. So stay tuned for more ATC's!

Fairy Card

This is a card I did for a stamp store.
It was a bit tough for me to do a card using only one stamp,
but I think it came out ok.
Had to add color by stippling, and then used water colors
to color in the images. Then I glittered the wings, and a neat thing happened, the colors started bleeding together.
Couldn't repeat that if I wanted to. LOL

I added flowers and sewing to it cause I thought it was a bit too plain. Not sure which one I liked better. :)

It was fun for a second try at stamping in a long time. :)
